Adamson won over National University 3 sets to 1 during the second round of UAAP Season 72 Women's Volleyball held at The Arena in San Juan.
But the win was not a breeze. National University gave Adamson a solid performance over the 2nd set almost taking the set. But NU reaped its reward by taking the 3rd set. This win made Coach Dulce Pante bring back her starting 6 players on the 3rd set.
National University's performance, though winless still, has improved a lot and we are looking for this team's improvement for games and seasons to come.
Adamson, after winning this game, has made its way on the 3rd position on the team standings, behind De La Salle and UST, respectively.
